We invite you to take part in a unique sailing event that combines tradition with modernity, and competition with a passion for the sea. The International Gryf Pomorski Cup Regatta, the largest regatta in the southern Baltic Sea, is back—and this year’s edition promises to be even more thrilling. Our ambition is for this regatta to unite sailing generations, foster camaraderie and family sailing, and deliver top-level competition.
The history of sailing in West Pomerania is a tale of courage, creativity, and noble rivalry. From charismatic sailors and yacht builders to long-distance voyages and major regatta successes—our regatta is part of this rich tradition. Last year, for the first time since its revival, the regatta held the rank of the Polish Offshore Sailing Championship for Double-Handed Crews. This year, it will once again gain the prestigious status of a Polish Championship, highlighting its importance on the country's sailing map.
Participants will compete on a demanding course of approximately 300 nautical miles, stretching from Świnoujście through the waters around Arkona, Falsterbo, and Christianso, and back to Świnoujście. It’s a race that tests endurance, precise navigation, and the ability to adapt to the changing conditions of the Baltic Sea.
This route not only challenges participants’ sailing expertise, but also pits them against open seas, currents, and often unpredictable southern Baltic winds. Along the way, sailors will navigate both open stretches and critical navigation points that require strategic thinking and excellent crew coordination.

This is a blend of tradition and modernity. Since the 1950s, this regatta has been one of the key events on the Baltic sailing map. Today, thanks to the passion and dedication of ZOZŻ, sponsors, and participants, we continue this beautiful tradition, while introducing new elements that attract younger generations of sailors.
Last year, for the first time, our regatta hosted the Polish Offshore Sailing Championship for double-handed crews, which was a great honor for us. In 2025, we will continue this tradition, offering even more excitement and opportunities for top-tier competition. In addition to fierce racing on the water, we also provide a rich accompanying program.
